The rudder on the Hunter 170 has two lines attached - one to lower and one the raise the rudder that can be cleated to hold it in position. These lines will move the rudder barely, but not enough to function such that I have to hand tighten the nuts on both side of the rudder to get it to stay in the down position to operated, and losen when I want it to kick up (very hard to do under sail). Anyone have a similar problem, and a resolution. Thanks.
