Anyone knowledgeable in rudders on the Cherubs.? I was told by a surveyor that there was a bit of delamination in the rudder. I didn't do much about it, I simply added some glass to the top of the rudder to stem. At the time, it seemed fine however I'm unsure whether or not there is a problem now. Last weekend it seemed that there may have been some extra movement or play in the rudder. Conditions included strong winds last weekend and 4-5 foot waves so it may have been some sort of turbulence. I'm interested in learning how the Cherub. rudders were constructed, how the stem or stainless steel pole is attached to the rudder and if removing the rudder would be feasible considering it's position under the hull under water. Any constructive help appreciated, thanks.
