I have a new to me 1992 Hunter 43 legend. I am looking for rudder bushings or technical drawings so I can have them made. I contacted Marlow hunter, Foss Foam rudder, and Tides Marine and all gave the same answer. “ need to pull them out and have a machine shop make new ones”. I was hoping to be able to have them made or purchase a set before Hauling the boat . Any suggestions on materials suppliers or companies that can make them?

Good advise from Marlow hunter, Foss Foam Rudder and Tides Marine. Suggest contacting Rig Rite after you remove the bushings and measure them. If they do not have them in their catalog, they can custom make them for you from a sketch of the bushing(s) you require with precise measurements and all boat details.

Your hull is the same as ours. Wrote and article awhile ago on rudder bearing replacement. I've never had to replace ours, but the article contents may be of some help.
