While lifting my boat, a Catalina 42 vintage 89, I have found out that the rudder is loose, I took apart the rudder and was surprised to see that there is no bearing to hold the axel, instead there is only a fiberglass tube which has become oval from erosion. Has any of you Catalina owners have encountered such a problem, or have you any idea how to fix it in the most appropriate way.
