Rudy is a GREAT source for all things O'DAY, however if you don't mind building a new rudder yourself...you can get a set of plans for the Sprite (plan is called Spirit) from Baker Boatworks in Westport, MA. The cost is like $45.00 or so and it should include all the info that you would ever need!
The Sprite and the Widgeon were designed by Robert Baker, and his family now sells plans for many of the boats. GOOGLE Robert Baker and you should find the site.

I found your thread from a year ago and was wondering if you still have the Sprite. I just obtained one and am in the process of restoring it. I have a couple of questions...like is there supposed to be a plug in the hole at the base of the back seat? Have you ever found a manual for it? was there a molding on the bottom edge of the inside railing and around the bottom edge of the middle seat? Do you have any photos of the tiller? Mine is missing the forward piece (from the joint forward). Any info on these ?? you may have, a reply would be appreciated.

Hello, I'm still learning these forums - I have a '69 SPRITE, fortunately, with all of the parts - yes, there is a black rubber, removeable plug in the stern, base of that rear seat - also one up by the mast hole. I can't tell if it would drain cockpit water or not? It's a cool little boat was just out rowing it around.
Yes, also molding all around seats etc. I can measure my tiller & extension??
