Thanks for all the good information. I really appreciate it. In case you were wondering how I bought a boat without a rudder and tiller (kind of like buying a car with no steering wheel,) here's how it happened. The local community college has a "send your boat to college" in which boats are donated to the college to be sold to raise scholarship money. My C22 was one of these boats. When I bought it from the college, they said that they had stored all of the loose parts inside the college so that they would not be stolen. They found the sailbag, but they could not find the rudder and tiller. Anyway, they are still looking but I believe that I am going to have to purchase one. Anyway, that's how to buy a boat with no rudder. Thanks again.
