For what it is worth; you need an assistant holding the glass on the inside when you are securing the rubber seal with the sealing strip!
Trust me on this, I tried the alternative.... :)

Make sure you get the insertion tool. The Series 1
& 2 use the same rubber profile but Series 3 is completely different. You
may find the fibreglass wall thickness can vary quite a bit over different parts
of the cabin.

Hi, I am in the process of replacing mine. I found the glass to be 3/16" and
the fiberglass wall on average close to 1/4". I ordered the rubber seals from a
company called Allegis. It's a two part system one being the seal and one being
the locking strip. The part numbers are AS-1456 for the seal and AS-937 for the
locking strip. My contact there is Tami @ 866-378-7550. She was very helpful. My
seals won't arrive until mid March so can't say how things will work out in the
end.

Kris,
Posts to this forum are "moderated" = checked by a human being before appearing on the forum.
So there can be delays.
I'm not sure if there is a "moderator in chief" who sets policy?
In my opinion, if it can be done, anyone who has posted more than a minimum number of posts should be able to post without moderation.
We could always revert to heavier moderation if necessary?

All posts are moderated due to an influx of Chinese
style selling sites at one time. We have three moderators, I think, and I am one
of them but luckily the others seem to do a great job and I rarely have to ok
any posts...

Most posts are NOT moderated.New users are moderated for a whileI occasionally turn on moderation if an existing long term user suddenly starts spouting spamI think I've only removed one or two users over the years where their email addresses had been compromisedAny rejection is probably due to other factorsAlisdair
