I am planning on refiinishing the deck of my Daysailer. To do so I am planning on removing the vinyl rub rail. As the rail is worn I would like to replace it. Can anyone direct me to a supplier that would have the correct shape?

Rudy at D & R Marine might have this rub rail in stock. http://www.drmarine.com/ He also has the right type of caulking for the vinyl which is Dow Corning 795. A regular marine caulking with Polysulfide would be harmful to plastic and Vinyl. As for the shape of the Vinyl, you are going to need to shape it yourself. Good luck with your project.
