Rub Rail rubbing me wrong way!!

is there any way to treat the rubrail so white chalky smears on clothes or arms can be eliminated? Nothing wrong with the rub rail only the annoying white stains it leaves when touched. I should mention that the white powder wipes off easily from skin or clothes..

Nothing wrong with the rub rail only the annoying white stains it leaves when touched.

Your vinyl rub rail is badly degraded by UV.

Wash it first and then coat with Meguiar's Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner. Slop as much as you can get to hold on the vinyl surface and let dry.
