She's beautiful with that sleek, radiused hull/deck connection and wooden toe rail - must be perfect for med-mooring about Europa. However we live in the US and tie up in slips - mostly fixed. When I bump a pile or dock edge I remove gel coat. It's a ridiculous oversight in construction. I'm looking for ideas to put a robust rub rail on our boat and end the needless damage.
Preference would be a nice hardwood rail with stainless steel strike. Anyone know of a yard on the Ches bay capable of doing the job right. Hopefully with full knowledge of the Beneteau hull/deck joint and best placement.
Thanks,
Gunni
