And check your RPM at full throttle. Your manual will give you expected (optimim) operating range at full throttle. Should produce 50 horses at 5500 to 6000+ RPM. If not getting optimim RPM you may be over propped or have more serious fuel or electronic problems. You should be attaining mimimum of 18 to 20 mph. Best way to check speed is with GPS.
