So I broke down last year and removed my Saildrive. I just bought a new 15hp outboard that has electronic ignition, and throttle controls. Has anyone else installed this on your boat and where did you find the best spot to run the wires?? I was thinking about drilling a hole in the port side about 1 ft above the floor and running the wiring below (in front of the steering quadrant) and installing a thru hull on the transom close to the outboard to run the wires to it?? Any thoughts??
