Hi All. I'm thinking of fitting a rope-cutter onto my H356 and would like to know which one is the best for my boat .any feed-back would be appreciated. Thanks you

This is what I use and very happy with it..

Saved me at least twice ..

I too

Have the Prop Protector. Best investment I ever made. With all the crab pots around the Cheseapeake that seem to drift from where they were originally placed it definitely keeps my prop clear.

Salty Dog: How long sharp?

I have beenthinking about a Prop Protector but I am worried that the "razor sharp edge" won't be sharp for long in sea water. How long have you had it? Is it still sharp? Thank Ivan Bekey

Prop Protector

This is my 05H36's second haul-out. After 2 years, the blade on my Prop Protector is as shiny and intimidatingly sharp as when installed.

still sharp after 4 years!

Ivan, ours is still sharp on our 02 H356. since it's not serrated, it's easy to give it a quick hone with a stone when she's on the hard

Is there enough space..

Chuck, I am installing the Kiwi feathering prop on our H-356 this spring. Do you think there will be enough space between the strut and prop for the Prop-Protector?

I would think so...

Tom, Mine fit with a standard Hunter 3 blade and with the Autoprop we've now installed-I think you only need about 3/4" of clearance between the prop and the strut-plus room for some water flow thru the cutless. Check the website for actual dimensions
