rOnDAYvous 2006 - start signing up!

Ahoy, captains and crew...Can you believe it? The 2006 Northeast rOnDAYvous is now less than two months away! It's time to start firming up who will be on hand for the big event at the Raritan YC in Perth Amboy, NJ.Please send signup information ASAP, and that should include captain's name, boat name and model, # of crew if known, how many nights you anticipate being there, and any other special info that can help the organizers. Signups can be indicated by reply to this board, or sent directly to Mike C <asax123@yahoo.com> or me <pooby_99@yahoo.com>.If you're thinking about coming by land, either with or without a trailerable O'day in tow, let us know about that too, for dinner planning purposes.Among the latest events we're planning is a Saturday afternoon mini-cruise, with a photo shoot of our beautiful O'days under full sail. So don't forget to gussy up the boat to look its best.This year's goal is at least 20-25 boats, to smash the record attendance we had in 2005. If you'd a copy of the rOnDAYvous flyer to duplicate and distribute at your yacht club or marina, let me know via email and I'll send it along. Two weekends ago, while waiting for a coat of bottom paint to dry, I walked around the boat yard where EmmieLou was winter-stored, and counted about a dozen O'days. Every one of 'em got a flyer (and in some cases a personal pitch from me).
