roller reefing boom

i read somewhere that oday 22s have a roller reefing boom. I can't seem figure out how to use this feature any insights would be helpful "thankyou".

the roller boom rolls on the gooseneck, there may be a crank or a tang with a thumb screw that locks in the mast groove. if you have mid boom sheets or a boom vang you can not roll. the boom would have main sheet attached to the end cap of the boom. to roll you would need a part that looks like the letter C that slides over the boom and rolled sail for mid sheet. idea works, better than nothing, not well liked...
