Winds here tend often to be too high for the full sails on this over-power boat, and the original jib reefer (drum only) fails to hold the jib in a decently reefed state, ie it unwinds from the middle upwards. One solution would be to install a proper roller reefer, like Schaefer's "Snapfurl", which includes a full length foil around which the jib wraps.Has anyone any experience with such? Any advice? In the H212's case the jib incorporates the headstay, and comes almost to the deck, which seems to imply a major recutting of the jib or a wholly new one.
