I have a 2007 Beneteau 343 and I've had repeated issues with my roller furling main hanging up in the mast preventing me from hauling the sail out fully. When this happens I or someone else has to go up the mast to pull out the sail perpendicular to the slot. The sail usually hangs up at a batten pocket. Anyone else have this problem and have a possible solution?

Haven't really had that much of a problem. When you have the sail out on a calm day, check the batten pockets with binoculars.
If you have a high Mp digital camera with optical zoom, you might be able to zoom in on the pockets and any damage. Send photos to Neil Pryde for their comment and feedback.
Does your halyard have enough tension? Mast straight?
There is supposedly a new skinny batten design but it requires sail mods.
I keep quite a bit of tension on outhaul when I furl and take the sail in further than the mark.

It might be worth dropping the sail and checking that the Velcro flap that holds the battens in is not bulging out. You will need a flat stick at least a foot long to peel the Velcro in the slot. A paint stir stick cut to width and sanded smooth works okay as does a piece of batten. I didn't have a plastic ruler to try.

There should be another thread if you "search". Besides Joe's good remarks, make sure that the boom is perpendicular to the mast and that you turn into the wind. It sounds like the sail might be bagged when it is being rolled up.
