I've got an Islander 30, Mark II and am going to upgrade to roller furling. What are your experiences, are you happy with your system, what should I watch out for?

Roller Furling

I've had Hood continuous line, Harken and, presently, Schaefer. IMHO, the Schaefer roller furler is the best. You may want to check out the August 15, 2004 Practical Sailor for additional information.

We have a Harken MK I

on our Crown 34 and never had any issues with it. Rinse the drum every once in a while... keeps it happy...
