Hello.
I purchased a 1985 Catalina 27 last year with many issues, I love to tinker, and have gotten most of the issues repaired. I have added a solar panel to keep the batteries topped off. I've added a stainless steel anchor platform and found most of the electric issues. The remaining electrical issues are as follows.
1 anchor and steaming lights
2 engine gauges
As for the lights, I am going to lay down the mast this winter. The roller furling now on the boat has no manufacturer name on it and appears to be the same as on several Catalina 27's and 30's in my area. The owners I have talked to don't know the type either. Any help finding a assembly diagram would be a great help. As for the engine gauges, my first thought is "plastic boat - lack of ground." Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
