Installing Harken Roller furler onto a Oday 25 and have a question on deck install point. Did anyone not use the deck angled tang to mount the furler to ? The lowest angle install is preferred by manufacturer, did anyone use a twist shackle mounted to the horizontal deck plate instead of the many inches higher forestay tang on the bow ?
