I have a Z Spar roller furling main which has provided good service until I shipped my boat and mast to Texas from Florida. When the sail is half out it starts to jam up just above the first set of spreads. Both upper and lower swivals were just overhauled. Same sail as before. Possible problems: 1. Too much bend in the mast 5 to 6 inches. 2. Upper swivel may be spinning inside the mast. 3. Something is snagging the sail on the way out. Too much or too little halyard pressure. The sail rolls up normal, however once it jams someone has to go up the mast to pull out the waded up sail at the jam. Looking for anyone who may have had a similiar problem.
