Are any of you using the CDI continuous line furler? They don't make these anymore, but I love mine, and am trying to keep it working for as long as i can. I am in need of some parts. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who can steer me to some.

Thanx Gary

I use a new CDI furler with a continuous line for my spinnaker. You might need to replace the entire furler with a new one depending on what part you need. Contact CDI below:

Again, what boat do you have?

Hi Dave-

The boat is a Hunter 22. You gave me the web page of CDI when you answered my previous post. I have been in contact with them, but they no longer have some of the parts for the older furlers. They are helping me with what they can. This system has a continuous line and an internal halyard. It chewed up my fore stay last year. I may have had the fore stay to slack which caused the furler to rotate improperly... Working on it.

Gary that will definitely happen to the forestay if too slack. I believe you have an internal halyard with your furler. If not, then look up halyard wrap where the angle of the jib halyard is not tensioned properly and the angle is too long and you will see another problem due to forestay failure.
