Can anyone help me ID what manufacturer made my roller furling?

As you can see by the picture, it seems that someone used my roller furling as a step and broke off a chunk of the upper drum. Unfortunately, whatever ID labels that where on it have long since worn-off, so ordering a replacement is a bit of a problem.

I would be very greatful for any help you could give me.

Thanks,
BILL

Have You

Checked with the builders of your boat to find out how the boat was delivered? Just by chance, it may have been set up with a furling system. Also, do you have a history of previous owners that perhaps you could contact? Also, perhaps you could start a process of elimination by doing a google queery and looking at all the companines that make them and doing comparisons.

Success at last...

After much hunting and emailing, I finally got a call back from the service manager at CDI yesterday, he was very helpful. The bad news is, the roller furling is a mid 80's design and no longer in production. The good news is, they do have an aluminum replacement drum assembly available.

Thanks for all of your help and advice.

Happy Sailing,
BILL
