Hi Hunter 44 owners. For comparison how far from the mast is your rodkicker set at. Just moved mine to strearn as the boom angle looked high. Thanks

It is recommended that the Boomkicker make an angle of between 30 - 45 degrees with the boom. Mark the location for the mast fitting. Generally the lower on the mast the better Boomkicker. Do an internet search on "Hunter 44 images" and see boomkicker images like this one:
