Beneteau Blue II On route
I have a friend on a 1987 Beneteau Blue II catamaran and he has had his electrical panel go down. The Beneteau Blue II seems to have little support or info written about them but I suspect this panel may have been used on other Beneteaus. He is in a remote area and the panel is totally dead with no circuit outputs yet he has power in to the panel. It looks like a complicated affair with relays, resistors and transistors rather than circuit breakers or visible fuses.

Info written on the panel is:
Beneteau Electronic Panel Commutation 12BS, Robin Radio Marine, France

Does anyone have any info on these panels so he can troubleshoot further?Any help much appreciated.Cheers, Paul

Main relay

Since everything went down at once I would focus on the main relay. Does the same job as main CB but is automatic resetting. Turn off all the sub circuits except a light and then jumper across the main relay and see of you can get the light to fire up.

Can you help us identify the main relay? There is no main switch or master relay on the panel that is obvious. Do you or does anyone else have a schematic? Thanks, Paul

beneteau blue ll Panama city
I saw your post whille looking for Blue ll. I have a Beneteau cat Blue ll. My guess is the main wire from the battery to the panel. Check for crud on the battery cable or behind the panel on the negative post. The main wire runs from the battery into the bilge to the panel. I am guessing it is like mine in the port haul.
