I have a new RL70CRC. Last time out the sun was out and a patch of moisture formed on the inside of the screen. It remained there for the rest of the weekend trip. It isn't there now. I know on the ST50's you can turn on the lights to get rid of the moisture but what do you do on the radar? I thought the radar unit was completely water-proof. I noticed a small amount of water in the navpod housing. I need to improve the seal but would this leak cause the problem?

You should not be getting any water in through the seals on the display, but it does have a gortex vent on the rear of the case. Drying out the Navpod should take care of the problem. It sounds like you generated some densely humid air inside the pod by combining the heat from the radiating fins on the back of the display with the water inside the Navpod.

Radar fogging

Patrick; If I get sun on my plotter/radar screen, it fogs, so I started draping a small towel over the screen, removing it when I need to check something. Keeps the fog from forming by keeping the temperature of the screen down.
