Don't worry! It's not that difficult
We just finished with our boat here in Venezuela, where we don't have a store to buy the rigging,. So what we did was to unstep the mast using the halyards of the two sail boats next to mine (we didn't have to pay for it). Then, we removed the upper spreader and the lower spreader, the headstay and the backstay. Doing so, we flew to Miami and went to Sailing Services, Inc (80 N. W. 73rd street, Miami Florida. Phone 800/458-1074)where a copy of the rigging was made in 24 hours for $938 (that was only for what I told you and not for the complete set of rigging)Back in Venezuela, we had the chance to change the compression post (we bought a couple of quarters of epoxy for about $100 and a solid joist for $50 and we made the repirment by ourselves)We stepped the mast again using the same way so, we didn't spend more than $1200. We estimate that the complete set of rigging can cost about $2000,We hope this information can be usefulfor you. If you are planning to do this by yourself, we have some information from Isomat about how to do it, we can send it to you.
