Re-Rigging
Walt,Generally the zippered pouch is on the starboard side. If so, count the numbers of points where the line will go through the sail. Don't forget that the top points might not have the flat disk but still count. If the number is odd the line should go through on the port side first. If even, it goes through the starboard side first. Reverse if the pouch is on the other side. For the reefing lines. Assuming you have two reefs. The ones at the mast go through the horizontal rings first then up to the sewn rings on either side of the sail and are tied with a small bowline. The ones at the end of the boom are also on either side of the center line of the boom. The one on the starboard goes up the starboard side of the sail to the same height hole as the starboard mast line. Through the hole and down the port side of the sail and is tied off to the ring below the boom. Some put it through the slot directly under the hole and tie the line around the boom. Your choice. The port line goes up the port side of the sail to the hole that matches the mast port line. Then through the hole and back down the starboard side and ties the same way .This assumes the lines were properly set up before you took them down. If you, God forbid, pulled the reefing lines out of the boom, you will have to take off the boom end fitting and get the diagrams from Hunter. The lines will have to be threaded through the movable pully cars that move back and forth inside the boom. Its not particularly complicated but it is not something that is obvoous.Good luckLess/v Mutual Fun
