Does anyone out there have a rigging schematic for the 33? I am specifically interested in where (and how) the topping lift is attached to the boom and how the "jiffy reefing" line is attached. Thanks.

The topping lift was a fixed length vinyl coated wire with a short length of cord on it. The two reefing lines go around the boom, up through the reef cringles, down to the end of the boom, around the sheeve, through the boom and out and around the small sheeve behind the gooseneck and through the cam cleat. If this doesn't make sense let me know and I,ll take a couple of pic's this weekend. P.S.What is the maximum RPM you canm get underway? 2GM yYanmar and fixed 2 blade prop?

Alternative to consider

Joseph is right, his discription is how the boat was originally rigged. The previous owner of my '33 rigged the topping lift attaching cord through the boom instead of using the boom space for the second reef line. This makes some sense in that you can adjust the topping lift fairly easily, and the second reef is very rarely if ever used. But, I would recommend that the topping lift be replaced with a rigid boom vang. Great for sail control and the boom will never fall on your head or the bimini.

H33 topping lift

The H33 has 4 sheaves at top of mast. On mine, I used the extraa aft sheave next to the halyard sheave to rig a topping lift line, aft end of boom to top of mast then down to exit point on starboard side.
