(I posted this over in the Ask an Owner -- but thought I would try here as well) Looking at the archives and even here recently, there has been a discussion on the 26 and whether the shrouds should be crossed or not. Mine aren't crossed (and I have had no problem) -- and after reading some of the archives a while ago I remember looking at manual and seeing that at some points it looked at if they were crossed and at some points not. Unfortunately, my manual is on my boat an hour away so I can't look at it right now. All you 26 people -- what is our thinking? Should they be crossed? How much difference does it make? (the chain plates are right there together) Is there a manual on-line that I can look at? I was thinking about calling Hunter, but I thought I would get your ideas first. Thanks.

ON-LINE MANUAL

I don't know about the 26 but there is something on this site (maybe the archives) about an on-line manual for the 260. I can't tell you where exactly but I referred to it once. I think it was a pdf file. Try a search in the archives for a 26.

Hunter H260 Traverse City
On-Line Manuals

Jim Seamans has placed the H240/260 manual on his site. Very useful http://www.ayesail.net/sailing/ManualsForHunter.html

I knew about those on-line ones

but those are for the 240/260. Has anyone posted a 23.5 and 26? ??

Talked to Hunter today

They indicated that I should not cross them! That makes sense to me, frankly.
