rigging question for older 22

I bought an old 1975 O'day 22 and I'm not sure how the forward lower shroud is mounted to the deck. There appears to be some sort of bracket that another part slides into? Hopefully the picture will come across and someone out there can tell me what I need.Thanks,Don

Don, That bracket is for a hanging fender. The lower shroud attaches to the same U bolt that the upper shroud attaches to. ....smooth sailing Ron

Thanks Ron,So If I have this right, the upper shroud and the forward lower schroud anchor to the same "tab" sticking out of the deck. The aft lower shroud would get connected to the "loop" which is attaced to the deck approx 2 feet aft of the "tab"?Don

Don, My '73 only had one lower shroud. If you have two lowers on each side it makes sense that one would be attached aft of the upper shroud. Ron
