Can someone please instruct me as to how to rig the outhaul and reefing lines in the boom of a Hunter 19? None of the lines were rigged when we purchased the boat, and I can't figure it out from the diagrams in the owner's manual. Thanks for any assistance. Chris

re: control rigging

Hi Chris, The outhaul goes from the sail clew over the centerline boomend sheave, through the boom, and exits to the clam cleat at the gooseneck. The reef line begins at the sliding bail, up to and through the reefing clew board on the sail, down to the starboard boomend sheave, through the boom and exits to the clam cleat at the gooseneck. I also use the port boomend sheave for the topping lift control line, which goes through the boom and exits to the clam cleat at the gooseneck. There are no internal blocks in the 19 boom so all lines just lead straight through.
