Rigging Main Halyard

Hello All,Happy New Year and hope 2007 is a great sailing season for us all.I have a Hunter 336. I need to rig the main halyard becasue I screwed up in passing the messenger line for the winter. Can anyone suggest the most efficient way to rig a main halyard on a 336? ThanksAmir

Rick,Thanks for your advise. Just wanted to get a clarification from you. Once the messenger for the topping lift is rigged, from the top of the mast we insert another messenger line from the main halyard sheave. Do we tie this second messenger to the topping lift messenger so that as we pull the topping lift messenger from the bottom of the mast, halyard messenger line also comes down? Please confirm.It is a nice picture of your 336. Do you sail with your full main sail? I generally sail with a single reef becasue the breeze is typically 15 to 20 knots.Thanks again.
