Rigging jib sheets on Oday 26

I was just wondering how the jib sheets on an Oday 26 should be rigged. Currently, I run them between the stays. Is that correct, or should they be on one side or the other? Also, how much mast rake do you advise on this boat? Thanks for your help.

Jib Sheets and Rake

Jib sheets should be outside of everything, i.e. stays, life rail, etc. This is only way the jib will be free at all points of sail. The mast rake should be about depth of mast fore and aft. Use main halyard for "plumb line" for measuring. Good luck.
