Hello all,

I have a piece of rigging that somehow worked its way loose and is swinging around madly and needs to be replaced asap.

Its the support wire that runs from the port side "bottom" spreader at mast to the upper spreader connecting at the outside spreader tip.

Is that the same length and connecting hardware that runs from the base of the mast up to the tip of the lower spreader?

I'm not wanting to get up the mast to unhook this piece to get a new one made but its looking like I may have too.

any info on the names of these pieces of hardware and sizes would help also

Thanks guys!

The issue is with "D2" listed in diagram. More specificaly the female "tang" fitting that goes into the mast.

Thanks for the quick reply Steve. You've been a great help on many things. If you were in Seattle i'd take you out for a beer!

If I'm in Seattle i'll drink that beer with ya!

I loved my H31. My wife decided that we needed a "bigger" boat. Now that I have the Vision, I don't know if I could go back to a traditional rig. I have Mr. Dinon to thank for getting a boat with an unstayed rig. Thank you again Rick.

Let me know if your ever in the Seattle area and the first round is on me!

I've attached a pic of the piece that i need to replace and I'm guessing its resting at the base of my mast. Hopefully I dont have to remove the mast to put the replacement piece in?! Man am I kicking myself for not going up the mast when I saw it was loose! +1 for getting a system in place where Im not relient on having another person there to get up in those higher places.

Cheers,
-Jared
