Just Dreamin'

We purchased a 25' Catalina which is sitting in a boat yard in Quincy, Mass. Unfortunately due to work demands my husband doesn't have the time go through the rigging on the boat. The boat's mast needs to be stepped up and all lines and cables, etc. gone over to for repairs/replacement of rigging hardware and lines so she's ready to sail. Anyone know of an experienced boat maitenance person, who is knowlegable of the 25' Catalina in the Quincy, Mass (near Boston) area? Thank you!

C 25 Association

Allow me to suggest the Catalina 25 Association website. It's full of very knowledgeable folks that love to share their experiences on their C25's. You'll likely find a member willing to come out and to a little teaching. You'll certainly find more than enough information there to be able to rig the boat yourself.

Boat Rigging

Hello, I just recently helped rig a friends Catalina 27, but there is no difference between what you are looking for as far as wear/damage and stepping the mast and installing the running rigging. I'm just up the road in Boston. I'm not a professional, but do have experience and own a Catalina myself. Send an email to c2csailor@yahoo.com. Maybe we can work out an arrangement. Tim
