So i picked up a H20, and decided to replace the bent Meriman standing rigging adjusters with swage-on SS turnbuckles (onto 1/8" cable). West Marine online consultant says "no problem - you just need to find a rigger with a rolling swage to have the new turnbuckles attached" Yeah, after two weeks of caling and driving, no luck. I even tried a bench mounted swager at WM, it barely marked the SS stud. Should I trust a manual swager? Anybody know an outfit with rolling swager rig. I am willing to drive to the ajoining states (Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland) if necessary - it's the only thing that's keeping the H20 out of the water.

Norseman Terminals

Another option is to use Norseman terminals - starting on page 972 of the West Marine 2002 catalog. This would be faster than trying to find an elusive rigger and probably cost-competitive. Another advantage is you'll never have to worry about dealing with a rigger again on that particular item.

Call Cedar Creek

Try and call Cedar Creek Marina in Bayville NJ they were doing rigging work, may be able to help you. 609-269-1351 they are closed Mondays, or Mariners Marina in Barnegat, NJ at 609 698-1222. Both advertise as "full service". They are on the mainland just off route 9. Good luck!
