Rig Tuning
I'm not sure of what you're asking, but I am giving you a link to the "I Love O'Days" web site which has a lot of model specific information. As far as rig tuning goes; You may want to pick up a rig tuning gauge like the Loos Gauge, which will provide a number of tension number choices base on the thickness of your stays. For instance; I tension the upper stays on my 222 at #30 on my Loose Gauge which may represent 250 LBS, and I use #25 for my lower stays. They have a number of rigging gauges on the market that you can attach to the stay and watch it as you adjust the turnbuckle. The Loos Gauge won't allow you to do that, but it's good enough for my needs. Anyway, I think that you're going to fall in love with your O'Day 23. They are a real super boat and they sail very well, so I'm told.Joe
