Okay, just a question on rigging the jib.. To try to get you to understand this, let me explain it in detail.. Attached is a bad pic, but to try to understand this....I made it up, so here goes... Once I rasie the jib, do i send a line from 1-4-5 and 2-3-6 Or is their more involved... A newbie of course..lol

Oday DaySailer -
I have a 16.5 Oday Daysailer II that rigs similar to what I see in your diagram- except for the points 5 &6. The lines from the Jib (called the sheets) do come through 3 and 4 then simply into the cockpit and are used for adjusting the jib. I think that points 5 and 6 have to do with the mainsail sheet that is used to adjust the mainsail from side to side. Hope this helps!

If your #3 and #4 positions have no cleat, then run the lines from #3 and #4 to #5 and #6 cleats on top of the cb trunk. That is what they are for. The mainsheet block is located at the extreme aft end of the cb trunk.

correct

The trace you make in your diagram is accurate. Make sure when you thread the lines they are inside the side stays (shrouds).
