Does anyone know the correct tension settings in PSI for the rig of a Hunter25.5? I need tension numbers for the upper/lower shrouds and the head stay and forestay. Thanks.
Anthony, I have the rigging instructions from Hunter. They do not have the PSI listed,but it tells how to get the proper tension. If you would like a copy e-mail me and I will scan it and send it to you. mayona rainnek@mindspring.com
Anthony: I have the same set of rigging instructions that Mayona is sending you. I set up my rig with a Loos Tension Guage which calls for 500 lbs. tension on the forestay and 350 lbs. on the shrouds (based on 5/32" wire diameter). I start with these numbers and then fine-tune. Backstay tension depends on the forestay but is generally about the same as for the shrouds.
