Done it a couple of ways
I have paid professional riggers to do it and have also done it myself. Either way, it will require sail testing. The main thing to remember is that the leeward shrouds should not be too slack. I like to put in on a beam reach in mild winds and sheet her in so that I am increasing load on sails and rigging. Then I go forward and give the leeward shrouds and good test. They should be less tight than windward side without being slack. The shrouds should not be rattling down by the turnbuckles to be sure. At rest, your rig should be straight. you can use your main halyard to a point toward gunnel on each side to determine this. Doug
