I am rewiring the spreader lights on my H-33 Cherubini and would appreciate any suggestions for getting the new wire down the mast, since the pulling of the mast is not an option? I am currently sifting through the archives, but if anyone with patience has any suggestions, please do!! Many thanks again. Bob Pullen

Follow up question on Mast wiring on H-33

Is it possible, feasible, or not-massively difficult, to snake/fish a wire down the conduit that seems to be rivetted inside on the forward "part" of the mast? many thanks Bob

Is it possible...

to pull a messenger line and or the new wire(s) by tying onto old wire and pulling through? Are we presently in Belize?

Looks a bit iffy...

Honeyman, thanks for the reply. The corroded wire leading to the spreader lights seems less than a sure bet that I can make it take a messenger line on down to the mast base, but it seems like it might eventually be the only way to go. Still in Florida, but departure finally looking like it might be within the 2 weeks window I thought would never show! Had to take over a month off for an unforseen bout with Melanoma, but finally got a clean bill of health and a sliver of budget left, so fearlessly ahead we go, with a somewhat refreshing view of life. Where is St. Andrews bay? all the best to the great folks here who have been one of the most valuable resources in this effort! thanks again Bob
