Been There
Jim,If interested, check out my upgrade from holes in the deck to thru-glands. I hope it helps.Cost - $20 for the Blue Seas through deck, $6 for the metal Coax deck fitting, and I used about $25 worth of Shakespeare Centerpin coax connectors from West Marine. It sure looks better and is easy to disconnect if you need to change wires. A better solution would be with the actual connections inside, but I would have had to replace the cable in the mast to get enough length. It still works well, so the extra 40+ feet of coax at @$1.80 per foot was not necessary. You don't mention where the connections, if any, are. You may be able to cut your wires, install the thru hull and make whatever necessary connection (coax and electrical) inside the boat.Good luck.
