This last July trip, my Niece fell in the water with a SOS inflatable vest on, at the dock at Ganges, BC, a little cold. The life vest she was wearing kept her from reaching far enough up to flip the ladder down so...... I flipped in down for her to get out.
She fell in the in water again at Squirrel Cove, BC while getting into her kyak...water alot warmer. This time she figured out how to deflate the vest so she could reach further to flip the ladder down with sucess ..... the ladder hit her shoulder and she had a small black and blue bruise.
Note: The SOS inflatable vests come with a spare co2 cartrige and you push down on the blow up tube valve to deflate vest.
So I again made some changes to the swim ladder but have not made any in water field tests.

The new safety rails, seat, rope handle and cover have been field tested work great.
Below is a picture of my niece Chelly out of water.
