Further to the recent discussions in April about cockpit drain hoses I have two questions I would like some help on:1 At present the starboard cockpit drain hose crosses over the the port side and then goes out through the hull on the starboard side. Vice versa port. Is it really necessary to route the hose across and back or would I get away with just crossing from starboard drain to port through hull (and vice versa)?2 Per Shields Marine Hose, recommemded hoses are series 262 corrugated exhaust hose orseries 252 or 257 reinforced exhaust hose. All are chosen for below water service and flexibility.Does anyone have any other recommendation?P.S. I know this is not actually an under water service, but as advised in the previous posts it needs to be treated as such. Thanks,John Brecher
