Retrofitting Power Tilt to Honda 9.9

but I would be most interested in a project like that.
I have an 06 Honda 9.9 tiller model I just converted it to a remote control model. My Honda dealer said it was not possible. I looked at the two parts diagrams on the internet and ordered all the pieces the remote model had that the tiller model did not. It was quite a few, cost was about $115.
It took about 3 hours labor for the mechanicals and then I had to make a wiring harness extension to mount the starter and kill button on to the boat.
I bought the Honda shop manuals before starting this job but really did not need them.
My concern would be that the tilt model might have a different casting, have you checked that yet ?

$1400 ($1499 list) is a little steep, I can buy a new motor with tilt for $2700. Another issue is whether the 9.75" high mounting bracket fit the H26 motor mount.
