I recently purchased a 1984 Catalina 36 with an Adler-Barbour refrigeration unit which the previous owner says has not worked for at least ten years. Is a schematic available for the OEM unit and a Service Manual? By jumpering the 12 Volt I got the fan to work but not the refrigerant pump.

I'm guessing that you connected the fan to 12VDC and it worked. I'm also assuming you checked the fuse on the module. Remove one of the fan wires from the module. If you have the original fan with a brush motor it may be drawing too much current. If that doesn't work, try jumping the 2 terminals the thermostat wires are connected to on the control module. If it starts, jump the 2 wires at the thermostat. If it starts replace the thermostat (part number F1710). If it doesn't start when you jump them at the control module, send the module to us for testing.
