I have a 1975 C-22 which I am in the process of restoring. I have done a good job, but now with all the restoration the old deck is standing out like a sore thumb. It is heavily oxidized, stained, pitted, and stress cracked. I imagine this is an old topic for the forum, but I would appreciate any advise one would like to throw my way on how I may tackle restoring the deck. The boat is not worth an expensive repair. It is currently in a wet slip and I intend to do any work on the the water. I am concerned the original surface is too far shot to be restored to any real luster as it is deeply pitted and stained. Frankly, I am tempted to paint it. Suggestions? Thanks in advance to anyone who wishes to chime in.P.S. Is there an archive anywhere on this topic?
