First I would like to thank all of the posters who helped me get rid of my anxiety about my first charter last week.We went with Sunsail Florida. Check out was a joke. I timed it -- it took 35 minutes. Basically it was where the inboard is loacted, how to start and stop it, where the electrical panel is and a 5 minute chart briefing.First day winds were 20-25 knots and they didn't have any issue with letting me take the boat out not having demonstrated docking or sailing. That first day was rough and the first mate got a little sea sick so we headed back for port. Had a devil of a time docking the boat. I think it was just new and the winds were blowing straight over the beam blowing us away from the dock -- no injuries or damage though.Actually days 2 and 3 the winds were a bit light and we did a lot of motoring to get to the overnight marina that we wanted to go (so was every other sail boat!). I will go back. Although I do need more charting experience. Thanks to everyone again!Dan
