Just bought '97 Hunter 280 and it has pretty decent leaks in both foward windows. The starboard window appears to be pulling away from deck, port side just has small leak. I asked Hunter tech and they said best thing to do would be pull the windows and reseat them. Has anybody done this? If so, any tips, procedure ir product? Our marina mechanic is hesistant to do this work since he's not sure of how to hold the window in place to set while it dries. Sound right? Thanks in advance, - Kevin

It's easy

Remove the windows, clean the area vary well. Buy Life-Calk from West Marine. Apply sealant and replace the windows. If the calk is going to be noticed, wet your finger with water and use it to smooth the calk.
